Founded in 2016 as a way to bring roller hockey back to Leon County, Tallahassee Indoor Sports (TIS) has grown to include youth roller hockey, roller derby, indoor soccer, box lacrosse and more. TIS hosts roller hockey tournaments with teams from across Florida and the Southeast in the 15,000 sq ft facility.
All Under One Roof
Tallahassee Indoor Sports isn't just great for roller hockey. It is a multi-sport court ideal for soccer, lacrosse, football, roller derby, bike polo and so much more. Since weather is no problem at TIS, athletic programs throughout Leon County like to rent space for off-season training and practices. The athletic flooring and high ceilings make it perfect for most activities.
The Capital City Kraken - Tallahassee's premier travel roller hockey teams - have earned multiple national championships in roller hockey in adults and youth divisions.
The Florida State University Roller Hockey Team's home rink is Tallahassee Indoor Sports. This team practices and trains at the facility to compete again other universities across the country. In the off season, the Seminoles also play in the Tallahassee Hockey Club's adult leagues.
